Microsoft has confirmed today that Harrison has left the building. Phil was the corporate VP of Xbox Europe for a number of years. A long time vet in the game industry, he’s worked with Atari and Sony Computer Entertainment prior to joining Microsoft in 2012. In an effort to further develop mobile and social gaming within Xbox in Europe Harrison had started up a London based studio, Lift London.
Phil Spencer took to the Twitterverse to say his good byes to Harrison and wishing him luck for his future endeavors.
Great time working together @MrPhilHarrison and good luck on the next chapter. You are a true professional.

It had been said back in March during the Game Developers Conference that Harrison was leaving Microsoft but nothing official was said.
No word yet on who will take up the mantle as vice president of Xbox Europe just yet. As always stay tuned for more information.
